If you're reading this Thursday morning, we're at Children's Memorial. Our littlest guy is having surgery and while it is something we've known about for a while, I'm a ball of nerves. Any good thoughts you can send our way are very much appreciated.
Needless to say, I'll be taking a little break from blogging while he recuperates. I will try to update on Twitter, though.
And now I need to stop googling things that scare me, step away from the computer, and try to get some sleep.

My thought and prayers are with you and your family. I hope the little guy has a fast and easy recovery.
I hope you and baby boy are okay. I wish I would have known as I work there and could have made some things a little easier! I didn't work on Thurs, but I certainly could have ran over to check on things and make sure that you were not running into any problems!!
That being said, if you have any recovery questions or any problems at all while you are there or home, shoot me an email and I will send you my phone number ASAP so that I can help in any way possible. Surgery is awfully scary for parents, but I'm sure he is doing just fine! Kids recover so quickly and hate being kept down!! Just remember to do pain meds regularly, especially before bed and once during the night so you don't end up with a sore/crabby baby in the morning! Best of luck, TCP!!
