Remember when I wrote about the return of the penny loafer? On August 20? And then the Trib piece from last weekend had a little mention of the Cole Hann penny loafer?
Well, I just came across a Travel + Leisure article by none other than Lisa Birnbach about those very same Cole Haan loafers. For the October 2008 issue.
We scooped the author of The Official Preppy Handbook! This is a major milestone for any preppy blogger. I propose to celebrate with a Pumpkin Spice Latte (natch).

I'll join you in that congratulatory Pumpkin Spice Latte, because I bought patent tortoise Cole Haan driving Mocs in August! Look at me being all fashion forward (for the first time in my entire life...)
